The "PHOTO IS" gallery at FUJIFILM SQUARE is pleased to present "The Art Museum of Dreams -- a photo exhibition of famous Japanese architectural structures" which runs from December 23, 2008 to January 28, 2009.
In early spring 2008, a program entitled, "The Art Museum of Dreams -- a selection of 100 world famous architectural structures," was broadcast on NHK's BS (broadcasting satellite) high vision and BS 2 channels to wide acclaim. The photo exhibition was inspired by this program and exhibits photographs of leading Japanese architectural structures including the Katsura Imperial Villa (Katsura Rikyu) in Kyoto and the Toshogu shrine,Nikko. The exhibited photographs have been carefully selected to enable visitors to gain a sense of the aesthetic profundity and artistry of these traditional Japanese structures.
