"Yokohama photograph" album which introduced Japan

American Perry fleet visited a shore in Uraga;the policy of seclusion of Tokugawa shogunate government was deciphered afterward, and many foreigners visited it. A lot of scenery of all parts of Japan were photographed from the late Tokugawa period to the early days of the Meiji era by a foreign photographer and called the photograph which I put the information in Japan in with "Yokohama photograph", and it was sold as a souvenir at the time of the return home. In a photo album of the luxurious binding which made lacquer work a cover, the photograph of the quarter sets up a mount, and the album is done. As for many of photographs, coloring by the illustrator is increased by an albumenized paper photograph print thinly more.
From this "Yokohama photograph" album, there are exhibit about 80 points this time.
n addition, we introduce the history that photography was introduced into Japan and the then old photograph at the same time.
